The Riderless Motorbike Spotted On A Highway Was Not A Ghost. Mystery Solved!

We have been told that reality is often stranger than fiction but fortunately for us, reality of this riderless motorbike is a much, much better story than fiction.

On May 28, a few guys spotted a motorbike without any rider cruising its way through a highway outside of Paris. The video went super viral. The guy capturing the video can be clearly heard saying…

“On the video, we can clearly see the two-wheeled … without a biker. A ghost.”

The video baffled everyone as the bike was driving through the highway in a perfect straight line without a driver. Everyone was in disbelief. It had more than 22,000 shares and millions of views!

A local news, Le Parisien solved the mystery of the ‘ghost bike’ and explained that the bike had been in an accident only seconds before it was caught on camera. Stunt motorcyclist Jean-Pierre Goy, who has appeared in many Bond films, says that riderless motorbikes can run free upto 600 meters. He also says –

“The pilot may have fallen, and in view of the motorcycle, with a very low centre of gravity, it was possible to continue its journey. I’ve seen motorcycles ride like this even longer, especially with the cruise control blocked.”

The reports claimed that the rider of the bike was in his 20s. He got hit by another vehicle and was knocked down the bike. The other gentleman took the rider to the hospital for treatment when they couldn’t trace the bike.

Fortunately, the rider wasn’t hurt much. And it was not a ghost.

I rest my case.
