Remember those days, when we saw Juhi Chawla on TV each morning with the memorable phrase “Chai time masti, bole toh Kurkure!”? For those living under a rock all this while, Kurkure is the most popular snack in India, known for its tangy, spicy, lemony flavour, and ‘tedha’ shape.
Rickshawali recently took this ‘tedha’Â snack 13,500 kilometres across the globe to the USA. She introduced a whole bunch of Americans to the snack, starting off with making them get the pronunciation right (One of them just couldn’t do it.). She made each one try a piece, and their reactions to this desi snack are just priceless!
