Needless to say, his incredible dedication towards his art is profound and also unmatched on so many levels too. Working on his new project, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, Ranveer has totally transformed himself for the role of Alauddin Khilji.
A Hindi daily reported that while shooting for the film, Ranveer was supposed to get slapped by actor Raza Murad in a scene. But as the scene didn’t turn out as perfect as Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted it, they kept doing retakes.
As many as 24 retakes of the scene happened! That means that Ranveer got slapped for a good 24 times before SLB got his perfect take.
While the news had a click-bait headline, ‘Ranveer ne Raza Murad se khaye 24 thappad‘, Ranveer took to Twitter to confirm that it’s in fact, a ‘True Story’.
