Rising Pune Supergiants Gets Brutally Thrashed On Twitter After Removing Dhoni As Captain

After stepping down as the captain of India’s national limited-overs team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was removed as the skipper of his IPL team, ‘Rising Pune Supergiants’ in a shocking decision by the team owner, Sanjiv Goenka. Australian captain Steven Smith has been named as the new skipper of the side.

Goenka wanted a younger captain to lead the side for the 10th edition of the multi-million dollar league after a disappointing season last year.

8. Precisely!

9. Once a captain, always a captain

10. RPS might have lost a huge number of fans in one go

11. As I just said

12. Not the name you’d want for your team

13. Plus, it was not a very good name. Was it?

14. Can’t argue that logic

15. Meanwhile, Chennai seems ready to welcome Dhoni back with open arms

Pune’s decision of sacking Dhoni might be a blessing in disguise for all the other teams.
