This 10-Year-Old Girl Asked The Police To Help Her With Homework. Guess What They Did!

Mathematics have never been my strong suit. From kindergarten to graduation, it is the one subject that has haunted me throughout my academic career. And if popular opinion is to be believed, I am not the only one.

Usually, when anyone gets stuck at a maths problem, they turn to their teacher or their parents for help. But have you ever heard that someone asked a police officer to help with their homework?

Lena Draper, a ten-year-old schoolgirl from Ohio, USA got stuck while doing her maths homework. And unlike what any other fifth grader would do, she turned to the local police department for help.

Lena’s mother, Molly Draper, posted screenshots of her conversation with the police on Facebook.

1. It all started with a little request

2. And the guys at the police station were happy to help with the maths problem

3. However, even Marion’s best made a little mistake answering the second question

Despite making a small error, Lt. B.J Gruber, the officer who runs Marion PD’s Facebook page hopes that people will give him an ‘A’ for effort. Jokingly, he said,

“Hoping it is truly the thought that counts since apparently I cannot!”

It’s okay Lieutenant Gruber, we have all been there.
