Even though the app is only officially available in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand, it has caught on like wildfire. Online data analysis website SimilarWeb put out reports stating that as of the 8th of July 2016, Pokémon GO was installed on 5.6% of all Android smartphones in the US, while Tinder has a measly 2%.

Now here’s the real shocker. Pokémon GO is all set to overtake Twitter also, based on number of installs on Android smartphones.

Additional data also shows that the app has overtaken WhatsApp, Instagram, and Snapchat, based on average time spent on the app. Pokémon GO is a whopping 43 minutes  and 23 seconds a day.

So have you hopped on to the Pokémon GO bandwagon yet?
