After a long, hard day, I still find peace in watching ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’. Yes, there are many of us who do that because that sitcom just never lets us down. And every time we watch it, we have these dreamy notions of living with our friends, which, we all know isn’t possible in this lifetime! We have also longed for friends to come back as a new season all over again, but, that again, isn’t happening ever.
So, in a recent bid to promote her movie, our dear Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) had come on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’ and revealed a few secrets about working on the sets of ‘friends.’
A fan asked Lisa that what was the worst behaviour she had faced from a guest star on the sets of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’? Lisa replied,
“I rehearsed without makeup most of the week and then on show night I’m in hair and makeup and I was told, ‘Oh, wow, now you’re’ — can I say it? ― ‘now you’re f**kable.’”
For obvious reasons, Lisa didn’t reveal any names. Now, that is something very mean to say to anyone at all!
Jennifer Beals, a fellow guest, asked Kudrow how she dealt with that. To that Lisa said that she told Matt LeBlanc about it because “he’s like a big brother” to her!
Well, haven’t we always felt that Joey and Phoebe have the sweetest relation ever? I am so glad they share the same relationship off stage too!
Earlier that week when she went on the ‘Today’ show, Lisa also made a sad statement regarding a possible ‘friends’ reunion.
“I don’t see it happening. It would be fun, but what would it be about?
“The thing we liked best about the show was that they were 20-somethings, they were their own family. Now, they all have families, so what are we going to watch?”
Now, that is disheartening. *sigh*
I like how Phoebe was able to confide in Joey over this nasty incident. I love how when we adore certain people on screen, they are even better off screen. ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ love, ALWAYS!
