Mosquitoes are a complete nuisance, no doubt. They are a vector for a number of deadly diseases and even when they are not lethal, they are extremely irritating.
But if you are the person, one of the rare ones, who is not really troubled by mosquitoes in a room where everyone else is getting tortured, just observe the other people. And you will be entertained.
And no, the pleasure is not sadistic at all. (heh heh heh heh heh…)
1. The head twitch
Mosquitoes flying by the ear is very irritating when it happens to you. But when it happens to the person in front of you, the head twitching is hilarious.
It becomes even more hilarious if the person is working on something and cannot really look away from their work. The twitching goes on and on and on and on.
2. The hands flying everywhere
The head twitch obviously doesn’t deter the mosquito, so they use their hands after a while. Even this time, they are doing it blind, trying to bat them away carelessly.
3. Self slap
It’s a bonus funny scene if they try to swat a mosquito on their face, and they miss, and they slap themselves instead. Gold. Pure gold.
4. The bite
One mosquito will eventually zero in through the weak defense and will bite that person in front of you. That’s the kind of bite which has had enough time to cause that stinging sharp pain, but not quite where the mosquito is filled with so much blood that it can’t fly away.
5. The rage
First comes the surprise- how did the mosquito get through? And, then the realization of the sharp pain! Then comes the rage, which is probably because the mosquito got away with it.
6. The personal vendetta
Like Michael Corleone swearing to wipe away the rest of the families, the person goes on a quest to kill every mosquito that has ever existed.
7. The clapping
One of the ways through which they start their quest is what looks like random clapping to the observer. You cannot see the mosquito they intend to kill so it looks like they are just clapping away, muttering dirty cuss words in between.
8. The misses
Bonus funny scene is when they clap their hands and make that smug face where they know they killed it, and then go WTF when they open their joined palms and there is no dead mosquito there.
“I HAD HIM! I FUCKING HAD HIM! WHERE DID THE TINY MONSTER GO?! WHERE?!”
9. Air tennis
Even funnier; they now have these mosquito zappers that look like tennis racquets where the strings are made of metal and there is a battery inside the grip. It electrocutes the mosquitoes and zaps them to death instantly.
The people literally start playing imaginary tennis/badminton in the air, fighting mosquitoes, replete with smashes, jumps, and overhead lobs.
10. The look of pure happiness
A bit scary than funny, when the mosquito is stuck in the metal strings, the device makes loud cracking sounds as the mosquito is literally fried to death by electricity.
They have a look of evil glee on their faces.
The person looks truly happy, their eyes reflecting the mad contentment they get from the death of their sworn enemy.
11. The itching
And they itch like crazy. Like the part of the skin that has suffered the bite is to be shorn off with their nails.
“I WILL ITCH THE BLOOD-SUCKER OUT OF THIS THING. OOOOH IT FEELS GOOD”
Not to forget that they will make orgasmic faces when they are scratching their itch. Being a third person observer to all the itching they do is even funnier.
12. Battle wounds
After the skirmish, they have these 3-4 places where they were bitten and now the places are red and itchy, they will look at them with the same look medics give to battle wounded soldiers.
“This one, I got it at 4 pm, and this one I got it from a mosquito as big as my palm. I killed it with my bare hands and then bathed in its blood.”
13. The look of defeat
Mosquitoes have existed on this planet from the age of dinosaurs and have still lived on. They realize that it is not possible to kill all of them.
After countless rage sessions, they just slump in their defeat, knowing that they will not rid the room, let alone the planet, of this horrible creature.
