This Model Doing Naked Yoga Is Elegance, Beauty, And Strength Personified In One!

Nude Yoga Girl sprang up on Instagram about a year ago and she hasn’t stopped. Her account is composed of only black and white portraits of her doing Yoga… completely naked. The 26-year-old is a model, photographer, gymnast, and Yoga enthusiast.

Along with inspirational messages, she shares parts of her story with very strategically lit photographs that help her skirt around Instagram’s strict No Nudity Policy.

I've noticed that especially women belittle themselves easily. Maybe we want to please everyone and soften our opinions.. Maybe we are afraid of what other people think about us. Or we think that saying aloud that we are good in some way is selfish love and negative boosting?! ❤ Being humble is beautiful but at the same time we have to respect ourself. We have to hold the field and not allow anyone to hurt us in any way. We have to know that we are good enough and we deserve good. ❤ I think that downplaying ourselves all the time goes against us. How can someone take us seriously and respect us, if we don´t do it ourself? I also think that it´s important and great that we can say to ourselves that we have received and earned our own success. ❤ Many times if we succeed we are almost a bit ashamed of it. We say that we achieved something because of others or good luck… But come on, you have done a lot of work, made difficult decisions and sacrifices, why couldn't you give yourself a big high five for the good job?! ❤ Moreover, we don't always know how to take compliments.. Why is it sometimes so difficult just to say thank you for them. I still start by downplaying  things that others might admire.. I don´t even notice that but always after this kind of situations I think to myself why did I answer by belittling instead of just saying thank you?! ❤ Have you noticed these things? ❤

“I do online classes and read about yoga etc.. but more for inspiration and to learn new things. I really would like to find a good teacher for me of course but at the moment I like to do yoga at home or in a park in the middle of nature. I mostly practice Vinyasa Flow and Yin yoga. And I love to figure out my own sets and just do a yoga flow where I bring different asanas together.”

Thank you so much for your suggestions in my last picture, there were so many good ideas and I will write about those subjects in the future. ☺ ❤ Today I did a long walk in the sunshine. I felt so happy in the middle of the nature where I saw animals, trees and flowers. I also love light, shine and shadows. I don't know which one came first: my passion to photograph or my interest in how light acts.. In everyday life I always notice light and look for good "light spots". Even if I do my photos in studio light, I love natural light the most. There is something magical in it and it's difficult to recreate. ❤ I get a lot of energy from breathing fresh air inside me. Today I took my phone with me and took many pictures during my walk. I sometimes do like that when I spot interesting elements around me for my pictures. I can see better how beautiful and detailed the world is. ❤ It's like meditation, I forget everything else that's going on in my life. I really recommend to try it… Now I have a dozens of pics in memory from my walk today and just looking at them makes me smile! ☺

"Don't worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?" ❤ All the things in my life that I've been the most afraid of, have been the best ones in the end. For example moving abroad, travelling alone, changing job, applying and changing university, starting this account.. ❤ Something new is always a bit scary – at first. You can't really be sure where the change is going to take you. It can be a gamble, a jump into the unknow. When you step out of your comfort zone, it's more likely that you get something good in return than loose… ❤ …You can be satisfied with yourself because you didn't just think but you did it. Your self-confidence grows because you see how much you actually are capable of doing. You learn new things and after trying many different things you can know better what really suits you the best. ❤ It requires courage, yes. But it's funny how we can overthink how difficult something new can be.. When you are outside of your "safe place", you will survive. You can do it. Better than you think. ❤ I remeber when I thought that I never ever could be a vegan. I thought it's too difficult, hard, one-sided, boring and tasteless. But in reality for me it was just something unfamiliar, strange and new. Back then I didn't know that a mostly plant based diet could suit me better. ❤

I have planned to do a dream map after Christmas.. Cut out pictures from magazines that remind me what is important to me and what kind of things I want to do and experience in my life. ❤ I've done dream maps before in different situations and I think they help me realize what dreams are the right ones for me and what aren't. ❤ The end of the year is a good time to think about what you want to get from next year and also where you want to be in five years time. We also have to start to do decisions today that will help us in our long-term goals. ❤ It's never too late to start dreaming again. Dreaming is fun but also important for happiness. Valentine's day is soon. ❤ Valentine's day can bring out different emotions in us. We can feel happy, in love or we can feel sad and lonely. Or we couldn't care less… ❤ If I look back I can relate to all of those feelings. Situations change in life. Now I'm very grateful that I can spend this Valentine's day with my love – and in the same place. ❤ Sometimes you can get a bit too used to each other in a relationship. Having your partner around daily… This Sunday is a perfect day to thank and show how much you love your partner. But of course we should treat everyday like it would be Valentine's day.. ☺ ❤ I think Valentine's day is also a good day to remember any of our dear ones, friends and family… There aren't too many moments when we tell people that we care about them. I always try to keep in my mind that I must do things that I THINK I can't do. This is because we usually underestimate ourselves and our ability. We have the potential to do a lot of different things and that's why I want to learn as much as I can in my life. I want to understand and experience. ❤ Of course sometimes you can feel like your capacity reached the limit. It's a good thing to know when to give yourself a bit of space and just be without seeking to do something. ❤ But I want to remind you this: we can do so much more than what we think. Already now. We are able to perform incredible performances. We can affect things that feel impossible. We can survive when we feel like there is no way out.❤

I practice yoga mostly at home. I love my own peaceful and quiet moment. I have my own corner, where I have a mat and yoga equipments always ready. It's very easy to go and do even 5 sun solutations or a 5 min headstand practice. Late in the evening before I go to sleep, I love to light up a candle, breath deeply and calm down. Yin yoga is my favorite for relaxation. ❤ You don't have to invest a lot of money to do yoga. You don't have to live near a nice studio. You don't have to deticate hours daily for it because a short amount of time will be of massive benefit to you also. You don't need anything else than YOURSELF. And you don't have to be flexible, sporty or anything else than what you are. You can start just now. ☺ ❤ Where do you practice yoga? In company or alone?❤

Today I've been thinking about how many beautiful things there really are that we can't always see. Cherishing beauty can help you be present in the moment and feel joy. So today I have tried to noticed more of my environment in every moment. ❤ When I take pictures or travel to new places it's easy to pay attention and scan beautiful details. I see nicely decorated doors, hand made coffee cups and puddles that reflect the light beautifully. But in a familiar environment the things become so normal that I don't notice the real beauty in them anymore. ❤ Today I've tried to appreciate something in everything. It's actually quite nice to try and find beauty in unusual things and places where I don't normally see it. Some of my beauty piece today: smoothiebowl, the floor in the cafe, footprints in the mud, WhatsApp's writing font, a geniously made zip on my bag, the color of the eyes of someone, the sky even if it's just grey… Etc. 😉 ❤ I challenge you to notice ALL the beautiful things around you today and enjoy it!❤

Many of you have asked about my diet and especially if I'm a vegan. In one of my previous captions I wrote that I eat with intuition by listening to my body(what it wants). No counting calories, no strict diet… ❤ The only thing that I "count" is the quality of my food and I try to nourish my body with real food. I want to feel energetic and I think we are what we eat. What you eat affects your skin and hair, your happiness, your body.. everything. Also what we eat has a huge affect on the environment and animals.. Food is a very important thing for me. ❤ I also want to invest in delicious meals and enjoy social situantions without limits. For me it's important to be flexible with my diet because when I'm travelling or being invited to a dinner party, I don't want make things too complicated because of an unflexible diet. ❤ I appreciate people who are vegan. But no, I'm not fully vegan. I don't think that dairy products are a healthy choice and I have felt better since I gave it up 4 years ago. (I also have avoided gluten and sugar for many years because I feel better without.) But I eat organic eggs and sometimes organic meat/fish. This year I've eaten more and more like a vegan and maybe some day I'm going to eat only 100% vegan food. You never know. ❤ So my diet is about 90% gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan food. But actually I never think about what I can't eat.. I just think about how can I nourish my body the best. Clean and high quality plant based food is my base. I eat mostly quinoa, rice, oats, root, vegetables, greens, berries, oils, nuts, seeds, fruits, raw cacao etc… But sometimes totally something else. ☺ What do you eat?

In January there are a lot of articles about different diets and weight loss methods in the media. Many have asked me about my diet and maybe some day I will write about my food philosophy. Today I just wanted to say one thing.. I believe that our body tells us what it needs. ❤ Maybe it sounds a bit strange to someone but for many years I have followed this advice and noticed that it works. If you want to take care of your body, you have to listen to it. How does it feel? How can you be good to it today? ❤ Of course it's important to know about healthy food, nutrition, training, resting and other wellness subjects but nowadays there is an overdose amount of knowledge. There is no end to different kinds of advices and researches. ❤ After I had tried all kinds of different things, I gave up on all the rules. In the end, I think our body is such a wise mechanism that it knows the best. ❤ Firstly our body has to be clean enough (unprocessed foods) to work in the right way and then you have to learn to trust it.. Yoga is excellent because it teaches you to listen to your body in every way. ❤ So I don't have any strict diet, training program etc.. I choose light yoga if my body feels tired, I eat when I'm hungry, I add protein if I want to. Sometimes I need a greensmoothie and sometimes a glass of wine. For me wellbeing is not complicated anymore after I understood that being flexible is actually the key to balance.❤

This year is coming to an end so this is the perfect time to write down the best things of it. I recommend this especially if you don't keep a diary because we easily forget. ❤ I did this today and I realized how many nice memories and experiences I've had during 2015. I really put my mind into doing this and going through the year in my mind made me even more grateful. ❤ I've kept safe all my previous ones from past years and reading them again today was so much fun. The biggest thing I realized was that you never can be sure what is going to happen next year. ❤ If this year wasn't the best one for you, you can be sure that in one year everything can change to better. This pose is not perfect but I'm going to practice it and get it right one day.. ❤ Many people have asked me about how does the photographing for this account happen? ❤ On my profile page it says "Everything by me". It means that in theory I do everything by myself but practically I get a bit of help from my boyfriend. He presses the button to take the photo after I've set up everything ready. I have done photography for 3,5 years very passionately. I have a little home studio. ❤ I usually do one or two photoshoots per week. I plan the poses in advance. I browse the internet for some inspiration and some of the poses come just by trying out different ones. ❤ I set up the ligthing and the camera settings ready. After warming up I start my photoshoot session. My boyfriend is kind enough to press the button in the camera to take the pictures. I'm very grateful for his help. ❤ Some photos succeed straight away and others take several shots to get right. I want the lines of the body to be precise in the pictures. After that I choose the pictures and make them black and white on my laptop. ❤ I Photoshop the necessary things for Instagram guidelines… Shadow the most intimate parts. I plan my instagram feed overall look also so I use some time to think in what order I publish my images. ❤ Thank you very much. Your questions in my last picture are great.
