You are in dream-land. And suddenly you can hear this irritating noise. Wait, why can I hear it in this beautiful place? And as you open one eye, you realize it’s time to wake up….again. Didn’t I wake up just yesterday? Here is a list of things that irritate you and make you feel emotional pain, if you are a person who does not like to wake up early in the morning:
1. The alarm goes off
…and there goes that fantastic dream you were having…and a few seconds later you can’t even remember it, but you are sure it involved you sleeping.
2. The alarm goes off… AGAIN
You twist and turn all over your bed, trying to find that god-damned phone…where did it disappear in the last 5 minutes? But you can’t yell at anybody because you did this to yourself.
3. Commotion in the morning
Maybe I should sound-proof my room?
4. Your parents trying to wake you up
…when your brain insists that you can get ready in 15 minutes.
5. People asking you questions when you have not even opened your eyes
*waves hand towards the door*
6. The kaam vali bai pulls back the curtains because she cannot clean in the dark
…and the light pierces your eyeballs at a rate faster than Rakhi Sawant talking….Now you realize- light really does travel faster than sound. Light >>>> you opening your mouth to tell the bai not to pull the curtain back.
7. …And does not turn on the fan while leaving the room – which she had switched off while cleaning
If looks could kill…
8. When your bed is soft and warm, and you can feel your toes freezing when you step on the floor on a cold winter morning
9. Getting up early to study for a test
What was I doing for an entire YEAR?!!
10. When you realize that you actually have to be presentable and get out of those comfy clothes you wear at home
If only people would be comfortable with your wearing your old and comfy pajamas to college. *sigh*
11. When people try to strike up a conversation BEFORE your first cup of tea or coffee
12. Thinking about the number of hours till the next time you can sleep again
There’s got to be a mistake. TWELVE hours before you can see your bed again? No can do, amigo.
13. When you realize you are dangerously late for work or college
And now you are fully awake.
