Northeast Indians Talk About Discrimination In Their Own Country & It’s A Shame For Us

How do you feel when you travel abroad and face racism? Isn’t it annoying when people stereotype Asians? When they associate India to snake charmers and cows? It is always bad to be discriminated when you are in a foreign land, bit when you come back to your country, it feels nice and safe. People are accepting and no one marginalises you because of your race.

But imagine if you are discriminated in your own country. How would you feel when one place which you can call home also refuses to accept you. That is exactly how thousands of north eastern who move to other parts of India feel. Many people from north-east move to other parts for education and professional purposes and they face a lot of racism in their own nation.
