Daughter Is Stopped From Carrying Mobile Phone To School, Mother Beats Up Director

Jalandhar came in the news recently when this video of a woman beating another came into the news. This is how the story behind the news goes:

The woman in question here, is Taranjit Kaur Hundal, wife of advocate KS Hundal, who beat up the director of Mayor World School, because her daughter wasn’t allowed to take her mobile phone by the director. Wait, what?

Aren’t mobile phones not allowed in school, then how did this become a reason for a Ms. Hundal to bash up the director? Ms. Hundal barged into the office of Jyoti Nagrani, the director on Monday, beat her, and even tried strangulating here.

A formal FIR has been lodged against Tarnjit Kaur under sections 451 (house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 452 (house trespass after preparation to hurt, assault or wrongful restraint).

All this, just for a mobile phone. It’s a good thing our parents were (mine still are) strictly against school phones in school.
