Our parents weren’t always wrong. The modern era portable smartphone has ruined many a life and it will only increase to do so if this man-made epidemic isn’t stopped.
A recent survey by a famous condom brand revealed that a large number of intimate moments were ruined because one or both partners were using their phones excessively.
40% of the 2,000 people who responded to the survey said that they returned home from a vacation with their partners feeling dejected because of their excessive use of phones. A fraction of those people also confessed to using their phones while having sex.
It was found that people under the age of 35 suffered the most from this issue because of their heavy reliance on smartphones.
Although this doesn’t reflect in the general population, women were found to be 27% more at fault than men in the survey.
According to a spokesperson from the company,
Couples have also been found to lose out on intimacy in hotel rooms because of their extensive phone use, owing to the free WiFi.
So kids, if and when you decide to take a breather away from the city with your partner, please do each other a favour and leave the phones outside the bedroom.
Or else the only things getting action will be your phones.
