“If I Go To Hollywood, Vahaan Ki Stars Ki Toh Band Bajaa Doonga,” Says A Candid Nawazuddin

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is not only unconventional in the face of everything cliched, that is Bollywood but is also one of the finest actors of his generation. Letting his characters take the credit, Nawaz as an actor has hardly basked in the fame, he so rightly deserves.

Last we heard, he charged only a rupee for his latest release, ‘Haraamkhor‘ and that is just one spec of his humble yet powerful persona.

In an interview with Times of India, Nawazuddin Siddiqui opened up like never before, unmasked by any character, leaving us moments to wonder. 

 

When asked if his consent as an actor, matters the most, Nawaz termed himself as a director’s actor and said, 

“If I start satisfying myself in every film, irrespective of the director’s demands, I will gradually slip into a comfort zone. And then, all my performances will be the same.”

 

Talking about his drive for his job, he vouched for the fire in his belly to be good in his craft. He also made an honest confession about his earlier choices of work. 

 

Nawazuddin will next be seen in ‘Raees’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan. When asked about all the three indomitable Khans he has worked with, the ‘Mountain Man’ had the nicest things to say.

 

Speaking about his family life, like every other doting dad, Nazwazuddin is not very keen about his daughter joining the industry. 

 

He also went on to express his feelings about star kids and the kind of favouritism, Bollywood maintains towards them. 

 

However, he saved the best one for the last. When asked about his Hollywood plans, Nawaz said it out loud and we couldn’t agree more!

And we thought there was no way, we could have loved the man more! What good did we do to deserve you, Nawaz?
