Social media erupted with rage today when they came to know that actress Nandita Das has apparently commented that “All men are potential rapists”. People were so angry that within no time #NanditaDasQuotes trended #1 on Twitter India.
Nandita declined making such a comment and tweeted the following

This Times of India article from 27th Nov, 2013 attributes the exact sentence to actress Nandita Das.
We don’t know if this article has tweaked her sentence out of context or she has forgotten the context from the interview. Mysteriously, the above article doesn’t mention her name in the actual story; just one line.
