Muslim Restaurant In London Is Giving Free Meals To Homeless To Make Their Christmas Merry

Christmas is almost two weeks away and people are planning in full-swing how to spend it with their loved ones and which restaurant they want to visit. But what about the homeless and those who don’t have anyone to celebrate the holiday with? A restaurant in Sidcup, south-east London, has some really sweet plans for them.

Shish Restaurant, a Muslim-owned Turkish eatery is offering free three-course-meal on Christmas to homeless and elderly people. They’ve put up a poster on their window that reads,

“No one eats alone on a Christmas day. We are here to sit with you.”

They’re offering soup and cacik as starters, chicken or vegetarian casserole or chicken shish for main course which is followed by rice pudding for dessert.

They’re even urging all to share this so that no one spends Christmas alone.
