There are a lot of alleged aphrodisiacs in nature all around the world. They are sought after by numerous people to make their private lives better. Nature is full of secrets and miracles. One of them is a mushroom that can make women swoon like anything.
Found in 2001 by John Halliday and Noah Soule on the islands of Hawaii, an unnamed Dictyophora species is deemed a very intense aphrodisiac when smelled by women, despite, or maybe because, of its “fetid” smell.
Their study included 16 female and 20 male volunteers who sniffed the mushroom and nearly half of the women experienced spontaneous orgasms. All of the men, on the other hand, claimed it smelled absolutely disgusting.
Mushrooms of this family are known to be aphrodisiacs like this one here, Phallus Indusiatus commonly known as ‘The Veiled Lady’ because of the net around it.
