So as if the Pokémon GO craze in India wasn’t enough, there have been news about mishaps and scuffles happening in Mumbai, and Delhi, two of India’s most intense Pokémon-populated areas.
And now, Mumbai Police, in an effort to curb the irresponsible behaviours of players on the streets, have come out with a GIF to explain players to mind the streets while playing the game.
Life is not a game. Especially not one to be played on the roads! #RoadSafety pic.twitter.com/qQghrHDNWr

And while we can’t seem to figure out why the policeman is also catching Pokémon when the whole point of the GIF is to advise against it, other Twitter users obviously had to troll them for this, which could’ve been much better in retrospect.
Here’s what Indian Twitter had to say.

LOL, for a city which can't even stop bikers from riding on the footpath, this looks really lame and uncalled for. 😂😂😂

While there are many in support of this GIF also, most of them thought Mumbai Police didn’t think it through! 😛
