Monica Lewinsky’s Response to Cyber-Bullying Deserves To Be Heard

“Being cyber bullied is worse than being bullied” says Monica Lewinsky who is a fashion designer, and a TV personality but who was more in headlines for her affair with the then-US President Bill Clinton, back in 1998.

News over the internet and social media was still a new thing back then, and even then it she became the a part of the online shaming and bullying that is a predominant part of today’s internet culture.

“I was patient zero of losing a personal reputation on a global scale almost instantaneously.” says Lewinsky in this TED Talk where she explains that even though she made it through all the public shaming and name-calling, there are many who don’t and throws light on why cyber-bullying needs to stop.
