Messi Announced His Retirement From International Football And Twitter Went Into A Shock!

If Argentina’s loss to Chile in the Copa America Cup Final was not enough for Argentina fans, they’re now left to deal with yet another setback that not only Argentina but the entire world wasn’t prepared for!

After Argentina’s defeat in the finals, soccer giant, Lionel Messi has announced his retirement from international football in an interview to TyC Sports!

The heartbreaking announcement came in just three days after Messi expressed his disappointment over the Argentine FA as he wrote “What a disaster the AFA are. My god!” on his Instagram post. With another disheartening defeat at the Copa America finals, Messi, arguably the world’s greatest football player has decided to finally step back and call it quits. A teary eyed Messi was seen sitting on the substitute benches after having missed his shot at the penalty shoot-outs.

 

With the World Cup just a couple of years away, the entire world has been taken aback by Lionel Messi’s abrupt decision who is just 29 and has a long career ahead of him, otherwise!
