Scared Of Going To Jail, “May-may” Sharma Takes A U-turn, Says Video Was A Short Film Not Real

Remember the time when you first heard the word, ‘meme’? What did you call it? Me-me, maeem, or better yet, May-may?

Also, remember the fanatic vigilante (Deepak Sharma) who shamelessly beat up a young boy because of meme (read: May-may). He put a live video where we could see him assaulting the boy and warning all the meme makers, not to make fun of “his religion”.

After his video caused massive outrage in the entire country, countless messages were sent to the Jaipur Police, asking them to take action against Deepak Sharma. Better known as May-may Sharma, Deepak has NOW taken a u-turn and said that it was a “film with a message”.

And just a heads up, he did not use ‘May-may’, meme is apparently called a ‘chitra’ (चित्र).

You can watch the entire cringe-worthy video here.

Whatever he might say now, police should further probe and escalate the matter. With 30,000 followers on his profile and countless influential minds connected to him through social media, he or anyone for that matter, can’t go around and take away people’s freedom of speech.

May-may Sharma, the truth is that you have landed yourself in a soup and no u-turn can make this alright.
