Punjab Man Rapes His 70-YO Mother For 2 Years. When Did Humanity Die Such A Cruel Death?

In a world full of horrors that come in forms of humans and their societal norms, what can be scarier? A lot of things. The kind of incidents that are coming to light these days are sending chills down our spines and makes us question whatever is left of humanity.

In an appalling and gory incident that has come to light, a 45-year-old man in Punjab’s Gurudaspur raped his own 70-year-old mother for two years. (Words fail to express our horrors.)

The elderly lady has four sons and three daughters. She used to live with her unmarried son, while all the other kids were married. It was after her husband’s death that she started living with her 45-YO son. He has raped her on several occasions under the influence of alcohol.

The matter came to light when she narrated the gory deed to one of her daughters. Before that, she was afraid to go to the police as that would bring a bad name to the family. She lodged a complaint with the district police on Friday (15 September).

The son has been absconding since the FIR has been lodged.

People are furious with the news and we are questioning humanity. As it is, rape is a gory crime. And, when the rapist is a known person, it is gorier. But how do we even fathom a mother’s pain upon falling victim to her own son’s lust and sick mentality?

This makes us lose the little faith we had in humanity.
