Now that Maggi might be on the verge of being extinct, every hungry Indian who lives in a hostel, alone, or who doesn’t know much about cooking is in a dire situation.
Because desperate times need desperate measures,  in this hour of emergency, here are few alternatives that can help you cope with your hunger pangs when Maggi is not there anymore.
1. Hot chocolate
Nothing makes you feel better than a steaming mug of hot chocolate. *licks lips at the thought*
2. Scrambled Eggs
Add some veggies or have it with buns, it tastes better either way!
3. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Stack some bread slices, put some peanut butter and jelly inside, and VOILA!
4. Bhel
Bhel gives you so many options, that you’ll literally be lost!
5. French toast
Our very Indian French signature dish!
6. Khakhra
Have it with achar, or butter, or aisehi, it tastes good anyway!
7. Oat porridge
Healthy, tasty, easy to make, need I say more?
8. Dahi and chewda [flattened rice]
Desi recipes never go out of fashion.
9. Soup
Go the traditional way or use instant soup powder, it’ll be ready in a minute anyway.
10. Salad
Cut some veggies into pieces and put whatever you like, the healthy tag remains!
11. Khichdi
Nothing says easy cooking like khichdi.
12. Stuffed omeletle
Stuff it with cheese, if you ask me!
13. Stir fried rice with left over rice
When it comes to beating hunger, everything is a weapon!
