Linkin Park Treated Its Indian Fans With Saucy ‘Naan-Puns’ And Twitter Completely Lost It

If you’re a 90’s kid, chances are you head-banged to Linkin Park songs that spoke to the punk in you. While all their rock led to a lot of roll, the boom very much began with their first album ‘Hybrid Theory’. And the year 2000, the ‘new’ millennium, was never the same anymore!

Especially in India, that houses a big chunk of the band’s fan following. Seriously, name one person who didn’t foray into punk rock sans LP!? I thought so.

While that is still that, band co-founder, Mike Shinoda recently gave a shoutout to all the Indian fans and food. He tweeted,

If you’re not in the know, the wordplay you see owes its origin to their new track ‘Heavy’ and goes like, “Holding on. Why is everything so heavy?”

It didn’t end there. Chester Bennington, the lead singer, joined hands in the noble cause and came with his naan pun.
