Airtel Is Introducing The Internet To Kids In A Village By Simply Lighting Up A Wall. Here’s How.

“Logic will get you from A to Z; imagination will get you everywhere.” – Albert Einstein

In the journey of life, the real discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes. This is especially true in the case of kids when they look at an everyday object (say a brick wall) and look through their imaginative eyes to convert it into cricket stumps, a pond, an octopus or their favourite superhero.

The walls around them, it seems, are a canvas to their imagination. In a remote village of India, where narrow lanes can’t contain the larger-than-life dreams of its children, the darkness of night has the power to dampen their spirits and smiles.

To solve this ‘problem’, Airtel has come up with this brilliant idea to light up smiles of a few children by helping them discover the joys of the Internet, through the first ever illuminated wall paintings!

Powered by solar energy, these seemingly normal walls stand as wall paintings in the daytime and turn into a source of light and learning in the evening.

If that wasn’t cool enough for you, watch the video below and leave a comment. The cool part is that for every comment of yours, Airtel will empower one person by making them digitally literate.

Go, #LightUpASmile.
