Here’s How The Awesome Moto Z Has Totally Changed The Game

I’m a mobile freak. And everytime a smartphone company launches a new phone, I always tend to read between the lines, trying to uncover the true signal between all the advertising and marketing noise.

Most of the times, it’s incremental progress. A bigger screen, a better pixel ratio, better camera, more memory, more battery and all that jazz.

But, once in a while, a smartphone launches that shatters the superficial ‘this is the best phone’ ceiling and becomes a pioneer. And more often than not, Motorola trumps all other makers in doing so. The Moto Z and Moto Z play are no exception. They are game changers.

Motorola has always been ahead of times. Its forte lies in marrying the best of futuristic tech with an enviable design. Don’t believe me? Remember the Moto RAZR?

12 years ago, a sexy little beast called the Moto RAZR saw the light of the day. And guess what, 130 million units were sold. It was the bright, design-genius child of Motorola. Of course the sleek look, the razor sharp features, a USB jack for charging made it the highest selling clamshell phone till date.

Then came the Moto ROKR in 2008 that revolutionized music on mobiles.

A phone that appealed to every music lover. It was right after Motorola switched from its clamshell design to a classic candybar look. This phone revealed it’s music controls on the keypads itself, in the form of leds.

In 2014, when the whole market was saturated with low-cost Android phones that didn’t perform well, Moto E was launched. It bridged the gap between performance and cost and left its competitors gasping.

It won’t be an exaggeration to claim that the Moto E brought the power of the smartphone to the masses.

For someone who’s always believed that different is better, something amazing happened in 2016: the arrival of the latest Moto Z & Moto Z play phone.

While the Moto Z is the thinnest flagship in the world, the Moto Z Play has a monster of a battery which can last an entire weekend.

So you must be wondering, “What’s the big deal?” It’s just another phone? Wrong. Watch this video and I’ll explain

That’s right! We’re excited about the Moto Mods that can turn your already awesome smartphone to a beast of a gadget.

So what can Moto Mods do?

Turn your phone into a projector – project & stream movies, photos and shows with the Insta-Share Projector Mod.

Start a party – with the JBL Soundboost Mod you can play high-quality stereo sound anywhere. It also adds up 10 hours of extra battery life. How cool is that!

Go professional with your pictures and videos – 10x optical zoom, Xenon flash, physical shutter and zoom controls and all of that with just the plug-in of the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod.

Never run out of juice – with the Incipio offGRID Power Pack, you can easily add another day of battery life to your phone. Plus, wireless charging. Damn!

Moreover, as always there are these style shells to skin your phone to your mood. Real wood to genuine leather, swap in seconds.

It’s not about ideas. It’s about making ideas happen. And let me remind you, this is not a concept product that’s been created just for the sake of showing how innovative we are. This is a freaking real product that goes on sale. It’s for the masses. And it is as real as you and I.

And it’s just not me who’s excited. Look at these reactions from Twitter.

Here’s Atul Kasbekar boxing away his old stuff for something different & better, which is the #MotoZ with the Hasselblad True Zoom Mod!

While singer Shaan throwing away his speakers for the JBL Soundboost Mod

And here’s Tanmay Bhat with the actual Moto Z Play & Insta-Share Projector Mod; plus a brutally honest review 😀

Welcome to the future. Thank you Moto for showing the way.

The MotoZ & Moto Z Play with the Moto Mods are already on sale. One thing’s for sure, I’m buying it. What about you?
