Covers of a lot of iconic old songs have usually had a very hit or miss fate. Some covers are greatly appreciated for their fresh take on a classic, whereas others may be thrashed for ruining a classic.
Antara Nandy just covered one such classic, ‘Kesariya’, and she certainly did the song justice. She not only sang it melodiously but also looked absolutely stunning doing it. For those of you unaware, ‘Kesariya’ is one of the most famous Rajasthani folk songs, popularised by the great Lata Mangeshkar, with music by Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
