According to psychologists, children become bullies because of several reasons but the most common ones are a) they have no control over their personal lives so they exert control where they can and b) they are trying to compensate for their own failures and insecurities by bullying the more successful kids. So it comes as no surprise that the nerd with thick glasses at school gets bullied twice as much as any other kid.
Bullying is NOT funny, it has lifetime effects on the bully as well as the victim. It harms a child’s self-image and breaks their psyche, rendering them to live in a constant state of peril.
A young middle-schooler, Keaton Jones, from Knoxville, Tennesse, expressed his hatred for school to his mother, and the desire to skip lunch almost every day, just so he doesn’t have to face the bullies.
She posted a video on Facebook where Keaton is talking about what happens to him and how does it make him feel. She posted a strong message for all the bullies.
His sister, Lakyn Jones, took to Twitter to share his message about bullying and celebrities gave him a huge shout-out and invited him to their shows, premiers and casual meeting.
1. Captain America to the rescue!
Stay strong, Keaton. Don’t let them make you turn cold. I promise it gets better. While those punks at your school are deciding what kind of people they want to be in this world, how would you and your mom like to come to the Avengers premiere in LA next year? https://t.co/s1QwCQ3toi

6. Luke Skywalker, the greatest Jedi, has your back.
Keaton-Don't waste time wondering why a bully would be so mean-They're sad people who think hurting others will make them feel better because they really don't like themselves-They're just jealous because you're so smart & handsome❤️Your friend-mh https://t.co/SUMw3OoCTm

9. Godspeed to that!
I #StandwithKeaton. Keaton baby, just know you’re not alone. There are so many people who come out of bullying so much stronger and you will be one of them!! God bless you sweetheart. https://t.co/LdCAy2lDHu

Some more celebrities even posted about it on their personal Instagram accounts.

2. Ain’t nobody bullying you when you have SnoopDogg as a ‘friend for life’.
Nobody, I repeat, nobody deserves to feel out of place or that they can never fit in somewhere. If your kid is a bully, knock some sense into them. If your kid is a victim of bullying, raise the concerns with the school, show your support and help them stand back stronger and taller than before. It’s like Keaton said,
If we can thank the internet for one thing then it would be to expand the social support system across the world. It’s so heart-warming and overwhelming to see so many big names standing up in his support.
Seems like today is the day things get better for Keaton, just like he believed that it will.
