A Principal In Karnataka Strip Searched 12 School Girls To Find Missing 100 Rupee Note

Most of us used to get scolded in school for mischief.

Somebody commits mischief —> others complain to the teacher —-> Get scolded. A Karnataka school followed the wrong way. Somebody commits mischief —> complaint to the headmistress —-> 12 girls are stripped searched.

A Karnataka school’s headmistress strip searched 12 girls when a girl complained that her 100 rupees were missing.

What happened?

A girl found that her 100 rupees were missing. She went ahead and complained this incident to her headmistress Jayalakshmamma.  The headmistress came to the classroom and demanded to know who was behind this. When there was no reply, she asked 12 girls to strip naked.

Consequences:

Those 12 girls complained to their parents and thus, the filled-with-rage parents came to the school and protested. This led to the suspension of the headmistress by The State Education Department.

Also, as the teens were involved, Women & Child Welfare Department has also been asked to draw their attention to this matter.

Well, the headmistress deserves this. It is right that school imparts us with wisdom and various life skills and that it is our second home but going to these lengths is not tolerable on any level.
