“Saif Tells Me I’ve Never Looked As Beautiful.” Kareena Opens Up About Embracing Motherhood

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been re-writing the rulebook on maternity and there are no two ways about that! Be it ruling the fashion game during pregnancy with her choicest outfits or turning heads while speaking her mind, the glowing mommy-to-be is empowering expecting mothers all over the country.

Like that wasn’t enough, Kareena recently posed for a photo shoot for HT Brunch and opened up about pregnancy like never before. Posing, 8 months into a healthy pregnancy, the actress is basking in the glory and setting serious standards while doing so.

Bebo spoke of her well-being and a breezy pregnancy (touchwood), citing that it was important that she didn’t put blinders on her long list of work. 

“That’s the mistake most women make.”

 

The actress was also vocal about the embarrassment women face during their pregnancy. And said there is no reason why a woman should shy away from flaunting the extra kilos.

“I’m a woman, and this is what God has made, and it’s such a beautiful thing.

I’m not sure why no Bollywood actress has done this (the shoot) before!”

 

Bebo was also all praises about hubby, Saif Ali Khan. She thinks he is a great father already (with two kids from his previous marriage) and that is exactly how she would want him to be with their’s.

“He is amazing with his children, and they are so well brought up. I just want him to be like that with our child.”

 

Kareena also mentioned her plan of getting back to work only a month after her childbirth. And joked that family and friends often tease her because of juggling so many projects. And apparently, Saif shares the sentiment!

“knowing me, don’t be surprised if I head straight from the hospital to a shoot. I think I’ll definitely be fully back at work one month after my baby is born.”

Saif keeps telling me I’ve never looked as beautiful. And that’s all any wife needs to hear, isn’t it?”
