Wife Of The Man Who Was Killed In Kansas Asks Media And The USA To Give Her An Answer

 
Mass shootings have plagued the United States for quite some time now. But it never gets easier. You never get “accustomed” to something like this. Parents are left childless, kids become orphans, wives turn widows and husbands weep over the death of their wives. When you lose a loved one to a tragedy like this, you lose a part of yourself. It’s never easy. You never get used to it. Life goes on but it’s never the same. It’s a terrifying ordeal that I would not wish upon the worst of us.

The most recent shooting in Kansas City took the life of Indian IT engineer, Srinivas Kuchibhotla and injured two others including US Navy veteran, Ian Grillot. In this video, uploaded by KCTV5 News, Srinivas’ wife delivers a heartfelt speech condemning the incident. She talks about how she had previously expressed concern about staying in the US after Trump’s election but her husband refused to leave.

Here’s what Srinivas firmly believed:

“Good things happen in America.”

It must have taken an unbelievable amount of strength to face the media in light of such a devastating tragedy. Her words will bring tears to your eyes.
