That sleek thing is more than just colour for your eyes! It helps you to express all that you hold inside, silently. If you can relate to this feeling, then you know who is the hero of this riddle.

For most of us (including me) kohl (kajal) is the only form of makeup we use, and simply because:

1. You are shy and kohled eyes are your only medium of expression, and speech

Which is why, the darker the kohl, the louder is the expression of your eyes.

 

2. But mainly, it is what keeps you connected to yourself

It does not matter for you if people can even see it in your eyes behind those spectacles, or, can see it at all. You know you have it, and that makes you feel whole.

 

3. It is more than just a fashion item for you and that’s why you don’t care if it gets smudged and makes you appear like an owl

It just has to be there, no matter how. In fact, you kind of like that improper smudged look.
