It’s nonsensical because if everything was started by just two people, things get a bit messy. We don’t want to get into the details of that.
It’s insensitive because if your main argument is that straight couples are pro-nature as they can procreate, the remark is hurtful to heterosexual couples who can’t bear children. And it’s insulting to homosexual couples who can gift a new life to poverty stricken, neglected, orphaned kids by adopting them.
