Two-year-old Tulsa, five-year-old Muskan, and seven-year-old Mansi rushed to save their mother, Rani Lodhi, 30, who tired to commit suicide by setting herself ablaze.

All three girls were rushed to a government hospital in Damoh, where they died only minutes apart.

This horrific incident has left the villagers shell-shocked, and several households have shut down their kitchens in mourning.

However, nothing compares to the pain and tragedy felt by the mother of the girls, who wanted to die but has now ended up outliving her all three children.

Admitted in a hospital in Jabalpur, the mother, Rani, is fighting for her life after suffering 70% burns. According to Additional SP Arvind Dubey’s statement to The Times of India, Rani admitted to the police that she attempted to commit suicide.

She couldn’t bear her chronic stomach pain anymore and hence tried to end her life.

However, the police suspect that the initial trigger could be a family dispute.

We can hardly even begin to imagine the pain the family and villagers must be going through after losing three children to such a terrible tragedy.
