Toh aapko pata hoga, how important food is and the value it hold’s in a food lover’s life.
Aur, kya aap apne aapko ek GoTian kehte hain?
Toh aapko pata hoga ki gore is the only constant on the show.
Now, combine food and gory GoT. The mere idea makes us wanna throw up. Right? Not sure if you have noticed this, but let me just say it out loud that our favourite fantasy drama, Game of Thrones, has been messing with food bad and our food sentiments are hurt, SERIOUSLY.
If you thought to munch on rabbits, snakes, wolves, stag, pigeons and was gross enough, we suggest this is not what want to read. But, if like us, you are still ok with all that and have accepted it as tolerable GoT standards, then you might agree with how it has become grosser.
Sample these and we think you might just agree.
1. Samwell Tarly’s poopy montage in Season 7 episode 1.
Season 7 premiered with a gore bang. We totally sympathised with Samwell’s monotonous montage, but the comparison of food with poop made us throw up in our mouths. It was a stomach-churning. Yukkkkk!
2. Jorah crusty pot pie in Season 7 episode 2.
Ser Jorah is covered all over in greyscale, and that’s a sight not quite pleasant in itself. But in the second episode, the way makers linked Jorah’s greyscale treatment to a straight shot of a crusty pot pie, we are dissenting it thoroughly. Y u do dis?
3. Frey Pie in Season 6 episode 10.
We loved how the girl who ‘is Arya Stark of Winterfell and is going home’ slit Walder Frey’s throat. But, the teenie tiny bit of the problem lies in the close-ups of one of the Frey sons’ finger. As much as we love pies, the image of chopped finger with a filthy nail bed was anything but delish.
4. Ramsay pretending to eat Theon’s cock in Season 3 episode 10
If chopping off Theon’s blue-veined sausage was not enough, in the episode, Ramsay Bolton teased Theon by pretending to eat his member. Umm, yeah. He did trick him in believing that and leaving us unsettled, successfully.
5. Dany eating horse’s heart in Season 1 episode 6.
Daenerys was carrying Khal Drogo’s child and was made to eat a stallion’s heart. Ehh! That scene was certainly not for the weak-hearted. Bloodied Dany chomping on that heart, gave us the creeps.
I mean come on, finger in the pie, poop-food montage, eating the heart, eating cock, et al. Dear GoT makers, you have already broken our hearts zillion times by killing off our fave characters one by one, just please don’t spoil food for us. It’s a very humble request: Just staph it!
