The recent social construct called the “friend-zone” and the imposed pressure on men to climb out of this so called zone is pretty ridiculous. What started off as a joke is gradually turning into a regressive manifestation of the age-old saying which goes like “men and women can’t be friends”. What’s funny is that “Friend-zone” a modern lingo invented by the millennials who have grown exposed to a liberal thinking, validates the mindset that any man who befriends a woman without an agenda and remains a friend is basically a loser.
