20 YO Indore Boy Found Alive After Having His Head Smashed, Doctors Call It Miracle

With rampant crime rate in the country, safety has become a primary concern for people, as people do not even think twice before committing a heinous crime. The value for human life has decreased at an alarming rate as we read about people being murdered, almost every day. However, the world is full of miracles and once in a while, we get to witness them.

In a similar case in Indore, a 20-year-old who had been kidnapped on January 7, 2018, was found alive after five days. He survived even after having his head bashed and being thrown into a 500 feet deep gorge.

Mridul aka Manu Bhalla, a resident of Shahgarh, Sagar was a victim of a revenge crime where a boy Akash suspected that he was trying to woo a girl Akash was in love with. He conspired with two of his friends to kill Mridul.

On Sunday morning, the trio contacted Mridul and trapped him saying that the uncle of the girl wanted to talk to him. They got him to accompany them in Akash’s brother’s car. They took him to the jungles of Muara Ghat on the Pedmi-Udainagar road, some 35 km from Indore.

They overpowered the victim and smashed his head with a stone, tied him up and then thinking that he was dead, threw him into a deep valley. Police initially did not take the case seriously when the victim’s roommate went to register the missing case on Monday.

Following this, the father of the victim came down from Sagar and the cops finally launched a proper investigation into the case.  With the help of CCTV footage, call details and witnesses the police arrested Akash Ratnakar and his two accomplices Rohit alias Piyush and Vijay, from Indore, all in their early twenties.

Doctors in Bombay Hospital treating Mridul revealed the circumstances under which the victim was found to Hindustan Times. They said that his pulse rate was 46 and he was suffering from hypothermia. In addition to this, his body had almost run out of glucose. Talking about the victim, they said,

“It is a miracle that he is alive.”

Mridul’s father also expressed that he was “thankful to God that he is alive.”

The Hindi phrase “Ja ko Raakhe Saiya Maar Sake Na Koy” stands true for this case. We wish Mridul a speedy recovery as doctors have revealed that his condition is stable now. We hope the perpetrators of this horrible crime are brought to justice.
