This other folder is like tonsils in our throat, it block the unnecessary stuff from entering our system and in return it faces the toxicity of those germs itself. The tell tales of creeps and stalkers flocking this folder are common among many groups.

David Marcus, the mind behind Facebook messenger has announced in his latest post that this folder is soon going to become obsolete.
Long story short:
– Others folder is now going to disappear!
– Instead, you will have message requests from people who are not friends with you but wish to contact you
– The person sending the request will not know if you have read (or ignored) the message
– Normal chat threads will continue as it is

David calls it a more than a small change and announces this as a foundation of how we are going to communicate in the future. (Telepathy, maybe?)
So till your stalkers find a new way to send you Heyssss and Ssupss, breath in peace!
