15 Amusing Characters You Will Find In Every Examination Hall

Exams are always a stressful time. All the excessive studying, cramming, worrying, eating, drinking…there’s no way out. But even in such situations, there are a few typical things that happen every time, like the one person who always carried extra pens to class. That sure makes for a good laugh when we reminisce about all the madness.

Here are a few typical kind of students we come across in every examination hall.

1. The last-minute knowledge soakers

These people will have their heads buried in their books, trying to cram whatever they can at the last minute. They won’t leave their book till the teacher yells at them to do it.

 

2. The Late Lateefs

They’ll come running in with their stationery in hand, sweaty and panting, apologizing to the teacher at least 20 times before coming in.

 

3. The care-free heroes/heroines

They’ll walk in with no books, no bags, just one pen/pencil and ruler in their pockets with their hall tickets folded. Not to mention the swag they’ll bring with them.

 

4. The prompt, good ones

They’ll be present in class one hour before the paper with their heads buried in their books. A few minutes before their exams, they’ll be discussing formulae/theories with their friends, and nobody else.

 

5. The sleeping beauties

These guys always end up sleeping during the first half of the exam, and wake up in the next half, hurriedly writing their answers down.

 

6. The Sajjan ones

They’ll bury their heads in their papers, writing anything and everything they know about everything in the world. If you make the mistake of asking them an answer, they’ll look at you like you asked for both their kidneys.

 

7. The Matlabi ones

The evil ones of the lot, they’ll ask around for answers when need be, but will never tell you the answer when you want it.

 

8. The partners in crime

These group of people, mostly friends, will be sitting in various locations of the class, but will make sure they communicate with each other from any distance. After all, #friendshipfirst.

 

9. The Cheat experts

These characters know every cheat code in the book. They know how to cheat, when to cheat, and what tactics can be used to cheat. It’s quite a talent, coming to think of it.

 

10. The one who always gets caught

This poor soul tries to cheat whenever he can, but is unsuccessful because his tactics suck. Then he gets yelled at, or his paper gets taken away.

 

And the one who gets away

This person gets a lucky strike almost every time. He gets saved from getting caught while cheating, always.

 

11. The extra sheet ones

The most hated one in the lot, there always will be some kid who ends up taking 10 extra sheets even for an English language paper, and will get death glares from all the other kids in the room for doing it.

 

12. The first one to leave

This kid always leaves the class just 30 or 45 minutes after the exam has started, leaving everyone awestruck at his move.

 

13. The one who always forgets to turn the question paper & misses out on 20 marks

 

14. The last minute writer

This kid will keep writing long after the bell has rung. The teacher literally has to snatch the paper out of his hands for him to stop writing. He is usually the extra-sheet kid.

 

15. The one who is never prepared

This kid will never prepare for an exam, and will try to get by with any kind of information he can use. He tries to fill up the paper with whatever he can, just for the passing marks. Sometimes, to his own surprise, he’s successful.
