10 Quotes By Ernest Hemingway That’ll Give You A Fresh Perspective Towards Life

If you haven’t read the books The Old Man and The Sea and The Sun also Rises by Ernest Hemingway, I’d suggest you do.

Ernest Hemingway is a Nobel prize winner for Literature and is seen as one of the greatest American novelists. Many of his books are considered classics of American literature. I remember reading the book The Old man and the Sea and feeling fascinated by it because it taught me to find success even in failures. It shows Hemingway’s way of life: You keep at it, and sometimes, even though you hook the big one, things just don’t go as planned, and, despite best efforts, you end up empty-handed.

Hemingway’s books show the philosophy of life through various instances. He committed suicide on July 2, 1961, and many of his books were published posthumously, but even today, his books are quite famous and are rendered as a must-read.

A truly inspirational author he was. But it’s unfortunate that such a brilliant writer would fall so far into despair that he would end his own life.

May his works continue to inspire us!
