Emma Watson Won Everyone’s Hearts By Wearing A Gown Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles!

There are not many people in the world who are environmentally inclined. Among those who are, few actually act on it. It’s a vicious cycle and the environment is in the biggest jeopardy it’s ever been in.

Cut to the Met Gala 2016, a fundraising event for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, where the ever gorgeous Emma Watson came dressed in an outfit by Calvin Klein & Eco Age. What was so special about this outfit?

The fabric of her gown was made from recycled plastic bottles. Completely environment-friendly and reusable, Emma Watson collaborated with the brands to get this outfit made.

Emma said that since plastic is one of the biggest pollutants on the planet, she wanted to take it out from the waste dumps and be able to use it to create something sustainable, which can be used again and again.

Even the other parts of her ensemble were made from truly organic materials, making it a very green and Eco-friendly outfit.

She said that the parts of her outfit could be used in the future with different combinations and she is looking forward to experiment with them in further events.
