Mexico was just trying to recuperate from the tremors of 8.1 maginitude it felt about a week-and-a-half ago when another quake hit it with forces that claimed lives on September 19. Almost 150 lives have been lost in the tremors, that went up to 7.1 on the Richter scale.
Buildings started swaying block to block; some collapsing, claiming lives and spreading panic all around.

The strangest bit was another powerful earthquake had struck the city of Mexico about 32 years ago on the same day. On September 19, 1985, a tremblor of magnitude 8.1 had destroyed a major part of the city.

There’s wreckage all around and there are ongoing rescue operations. Upholding the courageous spirit Mexicans are joining hands and braving through the calamity. Amid all the chaos, this video is a true testament of the Mexican spirit.
Rescued, by the Marina and the people, from the rubble was this dog, who was shaken and traumatised by the incident.
Mexico at its finest. Proud. #mexicoearthquake #fuerzaPuebla #FuerzaMiMexico

Mexicans are going that extra mile and helping each other out. This kind act is proof of their compassionate spirit. That building might’ve collapsed but humanity certainly didn’t.
Our prayers go out to the people of Mexico and other tremor-hit parts of the world. We just hope this all ends soon and people, animals, and every living being are safely rescued. But above everything, we hope for peace.
