This Gorgeous 3Ft 4In Model Shattering Fashion Stereotypes Proves How Nobody Is ‘Imperfect’

From a young age, we are taught that for a thing or person to be considered beautiful, they have to jump through certain hoops and fulfil certain norms. However, these norms slowly caught up to us resulting in low self-esteem and most of us growing increasingly conscious of our own body instead of loving it.

Well, this model will teach you that you can own your body and be proud of it because those norms mean nothing when it comes to true beauty. Meet Dru Presta, a 21-year-old model who is slaying her photoshoots.

What’s so special about her, you ask? Presta was diagnosed with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism which left her vulnerable to bullying because she stood at a stature of 3 feet 4 inches. As this was new in her hometown Reno, Nevada, she had to face a lot of discrimination from her peers, but that did not stop her.

Dru moved to Los Angeles to make it big in the fashion industry and to inspire everyone with similar conditions to pursue their dreams.

There were not many people who understood why she was this way but her family has always stood by her and helped her be confident and be sexy.

In a video called ‘Shake My Beauty’, Dru bares her heart and talks about the difficulties she faced growing up and trying to convince people that sexiness comes in all sizes.

She opened up about how people used to tease her when she was growing up for being ‘different’ and how she coped with all the cruelty directed towards her.

She said,

“They teased and they made hurtful names. It was hard growing up as a kid trying to understand why everybody was so mean to you. I have to look out for people 24×7 to make sure I am not pushed, hit or taken, in general.”

She also talks about the difficulties she had to face when she decided to take up modelling. She revealed that she had to learn how to work with her curves. She also said that a lot of little people have big butts, big foreheads and different size limbs, she had to learn to love herself and own her body.

However, she said that she would always prefer to be a little person as opposed to being average as it enables her to look at things from a different perspective which most people miss and she couldn’t be prouder of who she was.
