In the age of Google Maps, asking for directions is almost unheard of. However, for those who’ve lived in a time before the advent of high-speed internet and GPS navigation, having a good sense of direction was paramount. And rather than road names that we’re now accustomed to, directions were given with the weirdest of landmarks including, “iconic” potholes, graffiti and farm animals!
