Diljit Dosanjh is sure riding the waves of success. The actor has made his way into Bollywood and the hearts of millions of people across the nation with powerful performances in ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Phillauri’.
Reaping the fruits of his success, just last week Diljit flaunted his new uber-cool private jet with some kickass pictures and videos on social media. And this time, he has something even more distinguished to show.
On his ongoing Indian stay, Harjit Singh Sajjan, Canada’s defence minister visited the set of a singing reality show to present Diljit with his personal coin of honour.
Overwhelmed with the gesture of the Canadian minister, Diljit posted pictures of the coin on Facebook with a message.
Harjit Singh Sajjan ji, the honourable Defence Minister of Canada ne ikk baut hee kamaal di gall kahi. It’s good to get rewards for your hard work but what is more important is what you give back to society!!
Thanking the minister for the honour and the valuable present, Diljit said,
“I will keep this with respect and pride and hope am able to live up to such respect.”
