Dhoni’s Biopic Will Reveal His Heart Breaking Love Story That You And I Didn’t Know About!

Every Indian knows about the achievements of MS Dhoni. He hasn’t earned the title of “Captain Cool” easily. His ability to gamble under tense situations makes him what he is.

He had recently locked the headlines for his biopic, “M.S Dhoni: The untold story” which is going to be directed by Neeraj Pandey.

The biopic will give us a peek into the unknown stories of Dhoni. Turns out, the movie will also feature Dhoni’s first love story, the story which only a few of us know about and didn’t end as a happily-ever-after.

 

When Dhoni was in his 20’s and struggling to find a coveted spot in India XI, he fell in love with a girl named Priyanka Jha (which will be played by Disha Patani).

He was adamant on spending his rest of his life with her.

 

Meanwhile, Dhoni was picked for the India A squad to tour Zimbabwe and Kenya in 2003-2004. In this tri-nation tournament against Zimbabwe and Kenya, Dhoni helped Indian win by scoring 362 runs in six innings at an average of 72.40

 

While he became a sportsman to reckon with, he got to know that his girlfriend, Priyanka Jha had lost her life in an accident.

Dhoni mourned her death for a year and couldn’t get over the tragic news.

 

Everyone thought that Dhoni won’t be able to recuperate from the loss, but he made a grand comeback in the ODI series against Pakistan in Vishakhapatnam in 2004-2005, he scored 148 off only 123 deliveries.

Dhoni found his second love in Sakshi Dhoni with whom he got engaged and married. Sakshi’s role will be portrayed by Kiara Advani.

Well, with this incident revealed, I cannot wait for the movie to be released. Here’s hoping that Sushant Singh Rajput does full justice to the role.
