This Guy From Delhi Just Broke Records With His Whopping 1.27 Crore Job Offer from Google

This is Chetan Kakkar:

Like many other ordinary Indians, Chetan Kakkar is a final year engineering student from Delhi Technological University. But don’t be fooled by that innocent face. There’s an IT mastermind behind that facade.

 

And that has apparently led Google to offer him a mind-blowing, record-breaking Rs. 1.27 Crore job offer. His job offer has broken international records for Indian placements.

You heard that right. 1.27 crores. The previous record was for Rs. 93 lakhs. Chetan is an alumnus of Springdales, Pusa campus in Delhi and claims that his education at the DTU campus has influenced and helped him with this job offer a lot. His parents are both lecturers at Delhi University. His mom Rita Kakkar is a part of the chemistry faculty while father Subhash Kakkar teaches Management Studies.

 

Chetan is still in his final year of Information Technology engineering and will be joining Google from 2016 when he finishes his course
