Cop Breastfed A Suspect’s Baby While She Was On Trial And It’s As Beautiful As It Sounds

These days the news is filled with gory, dark and upsetting incidents of rapes, murders, and violence. So much so that whenever a happy story comes out, it warms our heart. A mother’s love for her baby is well talked about. But a mother’s love for another’s baby is special and restores our faith in humanity.

Hao Lina, a police officer in China, is winning the hearts of people all over the world after she breastfed the four-month-old baby of a lady on trial.

According to the Daily Mail, the moving incident took place on the 23 of September. The mother of the infant was on trial at the Shanxi Jinzhong Intermediate People’s Court in central China.

The baby had been left under the care of Hao Lina and her colleagues before the mother went into trial. The infant was crying and it scared Ms. Hao. She went and asked for permission from the mother to breastfeed the weeping child. She said,

“The baby wouldn’t stop crying and we were all worried. I am a new mother, I could feel how anxious the child’s mother would have been. All I thought about was to try my best and comfort the tiny baby.”

According to the court, the baby’s mother who was charged with fraudulent fund-raising, illegally absorbing public deposit and crime concealment with 33 other people, was so touched by the kind gesture that she had tears in her eyes after she left the court.

After receiving an abundance of praise and love, a modest Hao said,

“I believe every police officer would do the same. If I had been the mother, I would have hoped someone to help my baby too.”

This incident just proves the saying, ‘God could not be everywhere, so he created mothers’. We thank the love of mothers for making us hopeful for a brighter future.
