As a child, growing up in the 90’s was the best thing ever! Even as an adult, nothing can replace the love for the times when Channel V brought us our favourite VJs, who then brought us our dose of music (read: Purab Kohli, Nikhil Chinappa, Anusha, Gaurav Kapur and the entire gang)! Not to forget Lola Kutty and her hilarious antics that had me hooked to the television even if that meant a little extra time of homework.
Wondering why am I taking a trip down the memory lane? Well, because it’s a cruel world and I need shoulders to cry on…If you haven’t heard already, Star India is pulling the plug on Channel V (they’re replacing it with a Kannada sports channel) and I’m not ready to say goodbye. Not yet.
In fact, as it turns out. I’m not the only one! That’s right. Twitter is mourning the loss of another part of our childhood and it’ll fill your heart.Â
