Indian shuttler, P. V. Sindhu created history when she became the first woman to win the country a gleaming silver medal at the Rio Olympics 2016. But God knows, she deserved better!

Having said that, it’s ironical, because the champion who took the Gold home, after squashing hopes of many Indians, was equally deserving- the fierce Carolina Marin.

And since then, no court-clash between the star athletes have been given a miss. If anything, people and spectators thronged to see the duo hit the shuttlecock to and fro the net. But while you and I gave the credit to vivacious energy, cynics thought it was a game of avenge with the ‘arch rival’ that grabbed the eyeballs.
